Costa Rica

I went on a fabulous trip to Costa Rica with my Mom, Dad, and brothers Ryan and Bo. We spent 10 days touring the country and enjoying different areas. We started in the big city of San Jose where we went to a volcano and coffee farm. We then went to Tortuguero where we had to take and hour boat ride on rivers through the rainforest to get to it. We stayed in little lodges with no A/C and the sound of rainstorms at night to put us to sleep. We took boat rides searching for different birds, monkeys and iguanas. We saw some amazing things. We then headed to the town of La Fortuna where our hotel looked out at the beautiful Arenal Volcano. We went zip lining and sat in amazing hot springs. We met some other Utahns while we were at the hot spring, Dylan and his mom Charlotte. We then went to the Hanging Bridges where we walked on bridges that were suspended through the rainforest. That was really fun looking at how far up from the ground we were. After that we headed to the JW Marriott in Guanacaste where we relaxed by the pool and went surfing. We ended the trip with an awesome Crocodile Cruise and then headed back to San Jose and flew out. We had such a fun filled trip with so much to see and do. 10 days was not enough time in Costa Rica. I loved everything about this place. The people, the atmosphere, the rainforest!!! It was just gorgeous. I would LOVE to go back some day. I'm also lucky I got to spend time with my parents and my brothers. I'm glad to have Bo back from his mission to come on vacations with us again :)
